What happens if a 'local lockdown' affects my booking?

Firstly, until guidelines state that we have to close, we’ll still be open and doing our pottery thing. At present it looks like we will be closing from 5pm on Wednesday 4th November, until whenever lockdown is lifted. Please rest assured that when the lockdown lifts we will be back open as soon as we can, it’s not going to get the better of us :)

If you’ve got a booking coming up we’ll be in contact with you in the next 7 days to postpone / cancel your session. You could also order a pottery kit to do at home if you’d prefer, we’ll be adding some festive activities including painting plates for Santa, and of course a Christmas decorations making kit in the coming days. Let’s face it, this is going to be the perfect time to start painting your beloved friends and family gorgeous gifts.

If you’ve got pottery to collect, don’t worry it will be safe. If you don’t make it in to collect before we close, there will be chances each week to pop in and collect, we haven’t decided which days yet but keep an eye on our instagram and facebook pages for updates.

If your booking is paid for, you’ll be offered a credit note to use within 12 months of us being allowed to reopen, or a refund if you need it. If your session is paid for with a gift voucher keep hold of the voucher, it’s valid for 12 months + however long we’re closed for, so plenty of time to use it when this is over yet again.

You’ll still be able to purchase gift vouchers, so if you know someone who would be simply delighted by the prospect of a throwing lesson, or painting session when the dust settles, we’ve got you covered! They could even use their voucher for a kit which we promise is the perfect distraction right now.

* The final thing we ask is that if possible you ‘ll wait for us to contact you, I know this is a big ask as there’s lots of uncertainty around, but the more emails and calls we get asking what is going to happen, the longer it will take us to be able to have a proper read of all the new rules, a good think and get all the exciting new things ready for you! But please rest assured, you can trust that any payments / pottery you’ve made will be safe.

Once we’ve had a good read of the rules we’ll be getting in touch with all upcoming bookings.
